CV Manager

At many companies, CVs live in Word documents passed around by email and updated by hand. Every new project, every application, every language multiplies the effort. CV Manager solves this: a central application where profiles are maintained, skills organised hierarchically, and professional PDFs generated with a single click.

Built on Payload CMS 3, the application supports German and English with fully localised content. Skills can be nested in arbitrary groups — from backend frameworks to soft skills. PDF export is configurable through the admin panel: logo, font, colour scheme, and skill display as text, dots, or progress bars. For deeper customisation, you can create your own React PDF templates.

CV Manager runs on PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQLite and can be set up via Docker Compose in minutes. It optionally supports S3-compatible cloud storage for media files and OAuth-based single sign-on. The multi-tenant architecture allows deployment across multiple organisations.
